Weaving Workshop

The children were introduced to carding and spinning raw sheep’s wool this week during their BLAST Arts in Residence session with local artist Julie. Both the Senior and Junior classrooms contributed to a collaborative weaving project using a small table loom using wool and items from nature. In addition, there was a strong onion and elderberry aroma in both classrooms to support the natural dyeing of the wool. Thank you Julie for bringing a wonderful workshop experience to the children this week.
