The start of the planting season at Rathbarry N.S.

Senior classroom boys and girls, under the watchful eye of Ms. Dulohery, have been busy at the start of the planting season. A big thank you to our very supportive and active parents group who came in over one weekend in January and changed the layout in the tunnel to support better growth this year.

So we begin 2022 with a clean slate in our school polytunnel. Ms. Dulohery has been encouraging the children to think about what they want to grow in the tunnel with this the first of many updates to come. Here is the beginning of our Rathbarry rocket, spinach and lettuce. Watch this space!
