Springtime Planting

The Senior room have been making the most of the dry, sunny Springtime weather. Everybody has been busy repotting their rocket, lettuce and spinach seedlings which will eventually be planted out in raised beds in the polytunnel. All the children were very happy to see their seedlings growing leaves and developing stronger roots.

Each of the children got to analyse the dried seaweed fertilser that was spread out on the topsoil before planting begins in the raised beds.
